Alexandria “Alex” Hughes is a board-certified physician assistant committed to providing individualized, empathetic care. She values transparency and clear communication as essential tools for building trust and guiding patients through their health journeys with confidence. She has prior clinical experience in otolaryngology, dermatology, and gastroenterology, but enjoys working with patients to diagnose and treat all types of medical conditions
Alex earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions in 2024. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Colorado Boulder, receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Integrative Physiology and consistently earning placement on the dean’s list. With a solid foundation in evidence-based medicine and a warm, collaborative approach, she is excited to contribute to the health and well-being of patients in the Denver metro area.
Originally from Castle Rock, Colorado, Alex embraces the state's natural beauty and adventurous spirit. She rides mountain bikes at a professional level, but also enjoys snowboarding and rock climbing in her free time. Her passion for the outdoors fuels her sense of connection to the community and inspires her commitment to active, engaged living. She is also devoted to volunteer work and seeks to make a positive impact both inside and outside the clinic. Alex is proud to be part of the MedNOW team and looks forward to helping patients feel heard, empowered, and cared for.
