Dr. Mehul V. Gandhi is an Internal Medicine physician with over 15 years of experience in chronic disease management, nutrition, weight loss, preventive care, and mental health management.
Dr. Gandhi grew up in India and moved to the US at the age of 14. He completed his bachelor’s degree in Bioengineering from the University of Illinois - Chicago (UIC) and his medical degree from UIC - Rockford. After completing his residency at the University of Washington in Seattle, he practiced at the Crusader Community Health Clinic in Rockford, IL, serving underserved urban and homeless populations. Dr. Gandhi was the director of “Living With HIV” program at Crusader Community Health.
Dr. Gandhi previously worked with Kaiser Permanente from 2013 to 2022 as an Internal Medicine Physician and also served in local and regional leadership roles, including Chief Physician at East Denver Internal Medicine.
While simultaneously attending to his clinical and administrative duties, Dr. Gandhi completed an Executive MBA degree from Washington University in St. Louis in May 2018.
Dr. Gandhi is a strategic thinker and leader with diverse experience in internal medicine, biomedical engineering, clinical care delivery systems, and underserved health care.
He is passionate about treating the patient as a whole human being instead of just focusing on a specific medical condition.
Dr. Gandhi is proficient in English, Hindi, and Gujarati languages. He enjoys travel, hiking, nature photography, and sports including football and basketball.
