Dr. Christopher Courtney graduated from Louisiana State University Medical School in Shreveport in 1991 and completed his internal medicine residency at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Denver in 1994. He currently serves as a preceptor for medical students at the University of Colorado School of Medicine and was honored with the Golden Stethoscope Award in 2015 for excellence in medical education.
Dr. Courtney is known for building strong, trusting relationships with his patients and believes in collaborating on treatment plans to achieve the best outcomes. He is dedicated to providing personalized, high-quality care with a focus on prevention, acute care, and chronic disease management.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Courtney enjoys sushi, LSU football, bird watching, and exploring the fresh air of the Colorado mountains.
