We are excited to welcome Katie Hornbaker, CRNA, to MedNOW Clinics – Brighton as a new provider specializing in comprehensive pain management.



Katie is double board-certified in nonsurgical pain management and anesthesia and is passionate about helping patients restore function, improve quality of life, and return to the activities that matter most through individualized, evidence-based care.

Meet Katie Hornbaker, CRNA

Katie began her career in 2009 at a Level I trauma center in Omaha, Nebraska, where she gained extensive experience caring for critically injured patients and developed a strong interest in multimodal, opioid-sparing pain management and ultrasound-guided techniques.

After relocating to Colorado in 2014, Katie spent six years serving rural communities as the sole anesthesia provider for Grand and Jackson Counties. Her expertise in opioid-free anesthesia and advanced regional anesthesia techniques earned national recognition.

In 2022, Katie founded Grand Pain Specialists, where she developed a comprehensive approach to pain care incorporating diagnosis, medication management, image-guided procedures, and functional restoration.

At MedNOW Clinics, Katie provides comprehensive pain management services, including medication management, minimally invasive interventional procedures, ketamine infusions, bioidentical hormone replacement therapy, and regenerative medicine.

Katie believes pain management is about more than reducing pain—it is about restoring independence, improving function, and helping patients return to the lives they want to live. She works closely with each patient to create a personalized treatment plan focused on their individual goals and long-term well-being.

Outside of medicine, Katie enjoys spending time with her husband and daughters, supporting their athletic pursuits, and enjoying Colorado’s outdoor lifestyle.
