COVID-19 Antibody Testing Now Available

MedNow Clinics are now offering COVID-19 Antibody Testing. View for additional information about testing and prices.

MedNOW is now offering Covid-19 Antibody Tests. This antibody test will provide evidence that a patient has likely been exposed to the Covid-19 virus. The test is intended for individuals who may have had Covid-19 symptoms but are no longer symptomatic.

The antibody test should not be used as the sole basis for a diagnosis of previous infection with Covid-19. A patient who wants an antibody test should also have a brief visit with one of our providers so that a clear picture of a possible previous Covid-19 infection can be made.

PLEASE BE AWARE that a positive antibody test does not provide assurance of immunity to Covid-19. At this time we do not know if a person can be re-infected with the virus.

For patients without insurance and those with an insurance plan not accepted by MedNOW: the cash pay cost is $90. This will cover your visit with the provider (in-person or tele-health) and the COVID-19 IgG Antibody Test.

For patients with insurance: the cost to see the provider is the typical copay. The lab specimen will be sent to Labcorp and Labcorp will bill the patient’s insurance or the patient for the actual antibody test.
The accuracy of these tests is not yet determined, and this test has not been reviewed by the FDA. It is being offered by Labcorp in accordance with the public health emergency guidance issued by the FDA on March 16, 2020.
